Well apparently, Santa came and enjoyed the snacks..it was the first thing Bailey went to check out..
and the present explosion happened..actually, our kids didn't ask for a whole lot..just little things..I'm amazed at what some people spend on their kids at Christmas?
Santa DID come through with the camera for Christmas..lol
Bailey is my little creative partner in crime, so I put together a whole box of goodies for her to make her cards with..cards are her specialty..lol..a box full of ribbon, stamps, ink, glitter pens, her own heart shaped punch, tape, her own set of blank cards/envelopes to decorate, etc..she loved it!
Brad goes to the Tractor Supply Company sometimes for various things, not actual tractor supplies, and he had seen these stable/horse sets there and thought Bailey would like one, so I went and picked one out..what a hit with her it has been..she LOVES it! (Just ignore me..I am pretty ugly in the morning until I get my "face" put on and my hair done..)
An older kid at church had a hand held Yahtzee game one Sunday, and we heard about it for some time, so we got Chaz one...he is just a tad bit obsessed! He is a big "numbers" kid...He and Brad have an ongoing competition going on trying to beat each other's highest scores...
See? The stable? She played with it all morning..
If you remember right, Bailey had puzzles on her wish list..she got three regular puzzles from Santa, plus this special one..I ordered it from mpix.com and used our latest family picture..she loved that too..
And as she sat quietly working on her puzzle, behind her "all boy" was going on..I got him this "bop bag" knowing he would love it, however, it only lasted about 30 minutes before the part in the bottom that holds water to make it bottom heavy busted..so, it went back and I got a refund..oh well, good while it lasted..don't the makers know that boys are going to be REALLY rough with it, so it needs to be made REALLY well?
