I never finished editing day 2 of our Sarasota trip until now..so we are revisiting Spring Break..I didn't take any pictures during the day, but I did later in the evening when we celebrated Griffin's 5th birthday ON THE BEACH!!..Meredith and I were lugging tables, food, coolers, etc down to the very windy beach...but we decided it was all worth the effort for little G and how many times do you get to have your birthday on the BEACH??
We had appetizers that night, which is one of our most favorite things to have for dinner..lol..
Love this picture of the three of them, even if the sun was setting behind them and faded the picture a bit..,
Micheal insisted on taking a picture of Mer and I...like I mentioned before..very windy..
It was getting dark and chilly, so we decided to do G's birthday cake and stuff upstairs..
If you remember right, it is my ultimate goal to get fully-inflated-cheeks-blowing-out-candle-pictures at birthday parties..
Ok, so I had no idea what to get G for his birthday..so I browsed around Toys R Us the night before we were about to leave and came across the funniest thing..
That look on Perrin's face is so funny!
See? I knew he would love it..they have a pool too, so I have a feeling it will get lots of use..what 5 year old boy wouldn't want to be a creature from the depths? There are flippers for his feet too..
We were freezing on the beach and Michael (who played baseball for Ga Tech and graduated from there) went upstairs to grab us some jackets..and oh look? what did he bring back for Brad to wear..he must have been real cold if he put that on..hee hee..
Happy Thursday..I'm home with a sick little girl..normally I would be hanging bags of chemo about now..
