Wellll, I posted about Chaz's end of the school year happenings, but not Bailey's..I'm way behind..haven't been in the blogging mood lately..too much going on..lol..
So, Bailey graduated from Kindergarten!!!! Go Bailey! They do a 50's theme for their graduation for some reason? Chaz did the same thing when he graduated two years ago..so I gathered up a poodle skirt from my friend Angie and a Pink Ladies jacket from my friend Nina..and this was the result for her outfit..quite cute, I must say!
By the time we got to the gym, the place was practically full (very different from when Chaz graduated and, we had first row seats, darn it!), so I just got up and walked around to where I could get ...they made their t-shirts in class...
In line to get her diploma...she had been practicing at home "shake hands with the right, take the diploma with the left hand"...lol
(She got it right!!)
They had to wait a while for all the kids to go..they were the first group..
They want to be a part of it "FIRST GRADE, FIRST GRADE" (sang to the tune of "New York, New York" (where that fits into the 50's theme? Not sure?)...ha, so cute!..
We went back to her class for awards etc...
She got a little bashful when it was her turn for her award..
We were so proud...she got "Best Manners" for her class..I mean, really? THAT makes a parent happy, right? Mrs. Williams has gone on before to me about how she has such great manners..our work is paying off...
There was such a sweet group of girls in her class..they love each other :)
She absolutely loved her teacher this year...and she WAS great..she's been a teacher for 20 years and is very organized!
Wow! Where has the time gone? sigh...
