We started out not having any plans for Memorial Day weekend..I had actually sort of forgotten it was a "holiday weekend" until towards the end of the week..
We got an invite to come up to the lake for the day from my Sister and Brother in law..and we took them up on it real quick..Chaz invited his friend Tristan to go along with us too..and Brad's parents joined also...It was HOT HOT HOT..good thing we had the lake and a pontoon boat...and that Cici had a nice shady camping spot...
Mimi and Papa found a nice place in the shade to chill out...
Papa joined us for a jaunt around the lake later..There was a tree in the middle of the lake with a bald eagle and nest..it was pretty neat!
We cooked out hot dogs...yum...
Watermelon, of course..I sure wish I liked it...
but he does..lol
We had such a fun day! It was a nice way to kick off the summer :)
