The week before last the kids and I went up to visit my Grandma..it had been way too long..hate that..
I REALLY wish we could convince her to sell her house and move down here near the rest of us..but it's been a "no go" so far...I think she doesn't want to leave the house she and Grandpa shared for so many years, but eventually, she's going to need more help taking care of herself...It made me sort of sad when I visited..it's not the same without my Grandpa there..and Grandma just hangs out by herself with the blinds all closed unless someone is there visiting like my Mom or my Aunt..I have no idea why she keeps all the blinds closed..it drives me crazy..lol..I go around and open all of them when we are there :) I have a lot of good memories from their house..I spent a lot of time there as a child..I was a bit spoiled by them..in a good way :)
The kids love seeing her..Bailey had drawn a picture for her, of course...
I'm glad we got some new pictures together..which reminds me that I need to print these and send them to her...
