Bailey and I had the day together to do whatever we wanted and one place she's been wanting to go is the library...
She's like a kid in a candy store now that she can read...I had to sort of put a limit on the amount of books she wanted to get..pace yourself, girl! We've already read three of the books though..lol..guess we'll have to go back soon..
I have great memories of going to the library as a kid..My Mom took me often..she used to be an avid reader too..both of us have fallen off the wagon though..I used to do all the summer reading programs, but go WAY beyond the amount of books you needed to get your certificate..I loved it! I can still picture the children's area at the Lakewook Library to this day..I'd be afraid to go anywhere near there now for fear of being shot by a gang, but back then, it was a great place...
I picked this up for my reading pleasure..I'll let you know if it's good ..lol
(and I felt like a "slacker Mom" when the woman who was there with three kids was talking in such a high pitched annoying "mommy" voice that I was about to get annoyed. haha..that drives me crazy..my Mom knows the "voice" I'm talking about)
