So, like I mentioned, no patriotic activities here, but we did enjoy the sun before the storms came through...this morning we all set off on a bike ride around the neighborhood..it went well until Bailey spazzed on her bike, fell, and hit her head and skinned a knee..and we were all the way in the back of the neighborhood..grrr...it was the "trail of tears" on the way home, but she toughed it out and rode back home...I knew I could distract her from her injuries with promises of the sprinkler and popsicles..it worked..we haven't broken out the sprinkler in AGES...and I may or may not have run through a few times myself..lol..umm, NO pictures of that..sorry..

(Forgive my blurry pictures)

They were being silly and doing dance moves in the water..we have outside speakers, so we were jamming to 90's tunes..lol

Daddy gave her wonky pigtails today..very cute..that's the best you can get with her hair so short..

(Yes, they actually held hands if you can believe it)

Well, you can only jump through the sprinkler so many times...so we sat out in the sun..but then I got to thinking "I wonder if we still have that old baby pool"..cause water is water, right? Especially when it's mid 90's here..

YES, Brad blew it up...

and we hung out and played...

and life was good...
To Bailey's delight, we had lunch outside ON A BLANKET..she gets the biggest thrill out of that..lol
..and then Nannie came to get them to spend the night..and thunderstorms blew in..
Happy 4th!
