Playing hooky...

Yesterday, Brad's shop at Delta went to the Braves game..well, Brad has a friend who works at Turner Field, so he had her get us our own tickets. We let the kids stay out of school (bad or good parents?). We all tailgated before the game ..It was a beautiful day, we ate awesome smoked and grilled food, our seats were great (in the shade), and the Braves WON! What more could  you ask for?

Yes, Chaz always takes his glove..just like we used to when we were kids...

I love taking pictures at Turner Field..so many cool props all over the stadium...

He tried his hand in the pitching cage..that radar gun said he was throwing 45 miles an hour? Pretty good, my boy, pretty good! and he was hitting the mit..so it's all good :)

and while Chaz was doing this, Bailey and I saw face tattoos...oh yes..

(horrible lighting here..did my best..lol)

I handed the camera to Chaz for this one..

and to Bailey for this one..lol..darn it Brad!

Chaz got a foul ball! It came in our section but after it bounced and all, the usher got it..he looked around for who to give it to..I yelled at Chaz to hold up his glove (cause what old man can resist a little boy with his glove at the game) and he tossed it to Chaz :)

and then along came "Homer"...

Homer signed his foul ball..

and I took the opportunity to get in a pic too..

Woo hoo! They won!

I think they enjoyed their "skip day".. :)
