I checked the kids out of school yesterday mid morning to meet up with a friend and her kids (who checked her kids out of the same school..wonder if the office workers were suspicious? hee hee ) to go to Lenox Square Mall to visit Santa...a little later than prior years, but oh well...however, I forgot that most other counties are out of school already, so the lines were a bit longer than when we usually go earlier...but it wasn't that bad..it was worth going with some friends and hitting Santa up all together..as well as having a fellow photographer friend to take pictures with, Natalie of Amalie Photography.. :) Our kids are friends and all the same age, so it's perfect :)
We always come in on an upper level, so the kids like to go "case the Santa scene" from above...
The excitement builds...but then there was disagreement amongst the natives about whether to go eat lunch first or see Santa first...the two Moms pulled rank and decided let's do Santa first since that was our priority...and the line wasn't that long...
We kept ourselves busy in line taking pictures...and comparing shoes or something? Not sure what they were discussing here..lol
The anticipation was building..It was cute, Chaz leaned over and whispered to me that he was nervous..lol
Katlynn and Alden went first, then C& B joined them for a picture, and then they had their turn...

The official shot...however, I did buy theirs too, although I usually like mine better...they are so nice about letting you take your own pictures...and they don't rush you along...
I always like to go check out Pottery Barn Kids...and so does Bailey..although they get a little wild in there..there's so much cool stuff..not gonna lie, it makes me covet a bit...

I'm not gonna lie though, I was tired when we got home...it's hard to keep track of all four of them, even with two Moms, in that busy mall...
Ok, gotta get productive..I need to go lay out the kid's gifts and see what I have and what I still need to get..mainly stocking stuff..sometimes I buy stuff and forget what I have bought cause I shove it in my closet...and I need to plan what I'm making food wise for Christmas at our house..13 coming..yikes~ Guess I'll clean on Friday..and the kids have their last day before vacation parties tomorrow morning, so I will be at those all morning..and then BAM, Christmas vacation begins for them...Lord, help me..
