First book report angst...

Chaz (ie "we")are in the middle of putting together a book report...sigh...it becomes a family affair..somehow I worked it where Brad ended up helping him put together his summary..Brad has more patience than I do and he and Chaz seem to get it done more easily together..I will help him with the artistic construction of his "cereal box report" (had never heard of those..even had to Google it..lol)...

I had to catch a few pictures while he was in his "book report angst"...(I should have gotten a picture of Brad's face too...it's not an easy process helping that boy)

and THEN what happened? You've got to summarize the story Chaz....

lol..hang in there buddy..you're going to have a LOT more stuff like this to do in your future, trust me...

Happy Birthday Papa!

We celebrated my Father in law's birthday this past Sunday with a BBQ dinner and his favorite caramel cake...

Papa has had a really rough year..health issues one after another..we are glad that he is hopefully on the mend!

Bailey warning Chaz NOT to blow out the candles..he has a really bad habit of doing that if any birthday cake is in his presence...I'm telling you, you don't mess with Bailey (hope that keeps up into her teenage years with boys..lol)

Brad's sister and husband always give Papa dollar bills to equal how old he is, and the kids are always in awe of the stack of bills...lol

Who needs the Tooth Fairy....

When you can get this for pulling your OWN tooth?

Bailey had had that nasty tooth hanging for several days and wouldn't let us pull it and wouldn't do it herself..well Brad and I couldn't take anymore, so on Monday, I told her if she'd pull it, I'd take her to Dunkin Donuts...within about 15 minutes, it was done, and we were on the road to DD...her face is splotched because we kept trying to get her to let us do it, and she was pitching a small fit..lol..finally, we told her to just wiggle it back and forth and DO IT HERSELF ..and she did, and snap (yes, we heard it), it came out...lol..such drama!

She did share these with her brother, I must add :)

Note: The Tooth Fairy did indeed come too :)

The Countdown Has Begun...

Of course, we are a few days closer than that now....

Clomp, clomp, clomp...

For some reason, Bailey has been obsessed with these shoes of mine (they have medium heels which you can't see here)...wears them constantly around the house....looking like a "hoochie Mama" with her skinny jeans and these...and she has her BFF over spending the night, they went to put their pajamas on at 8:30...and she has "the shoes" on...lol

She asked me if she could wear them to school too....ummmm?
