Well, here we go..another week...Lots of photos this week..and not much journaling..Like I've said before, I add a lot of text to the pictures, so I count that..lol...
Two inserts...the first one is a BH protector that I cut in half..and I bought the framed journalers from Cathy Zielske..love them..
and then my kid's awesome report cards..and a note that Brad left for them..
I've stuck with this 3 whole months! Rock on!

It's Chaz! He had the unique opportunity to go down to LaGrange College and be the bat boy for the Panthers two Sundays ago..he got to hang with the "big boys" in the dug out..it was cute!
He stuck pretty close to Coach Howard until he loosened up a bit and the guys made him feel at home..
Bailey was his food/drink runner..lol

Still ticking along...I had to break out and make my own date card up in the left corner..sometimes the ones in the kit just don't pop with my pictures...

Chaz and Bailey each had a friend spend the night on that Thursday night..so a collage of each of them from Friday..
and then this funny thing Bailey brought home from school that they had displayed in the hall, I'm assuming..."yes, Bailey, we wonder what he does too" ;)
I'm pretty much in a flow with PL...On Monday, I tend to go through my pictures from the prior week and pick and print the ones I want to use...and then figure out any inserts, if any...and then typing/printing the journaling last...sometimes it gets done in a day or so..sometimes longer..not gonna sweat it..

We were very disappointed when our softball opening ceremonies got cancelled for this past Friday night...I mean, our team had been preparing for that night..a banner, colored hairspray, tattoos, stickers, balloons..we were ready...but for some reason it got cancelled..I think the older teams don't care about coming..something about lack of participation or something...
This was us at practice the Wednesday before...we have a great group of parents...and some of us Moms had fun chatting and painting...
and then the girls signed the banner..it was so funny..one of the little girls, Kira, when we told her to sign her name and number (meaning jersey number), started writing her phone number..hahahaha..it was priceless..so her "number" next to her name goes something like "770-68..." before we stopped her..lol
Anyhoo, our first game was Saturday..I had to work that day, but thankfully, we finished up early so I was able to be there..
They played great and won by 2 runs...

THIS little #3 got her an "in the park" homerun!
and then after the game, we hit Taco Mac and met up with our friends Erin and Jackson...Chaz had gone to play at their house during the game...it WAS St.Patrick's Day, so green beer was in order of course...Brad was the only one with a stitch of green on...lol..had I not had to work and all, I would have dressed up more festively and looked cuter..this was the result of all day at work, run home, change quickly, and go to softball game..lol
Fun times...looking forward to a fun season! Can't believe this is Bailey's 5th softball season!
Who doesn't have this issue? The kids were out of school on Friday due to a teachers work day, I guess...Chaz had a friend coming over to spend the night, so I thought, why not Bailey too? Brad decided to take Friday off too, so we were all good..Bailey decided to invite her friend Bailey (yes, same name)....so after school on Thursday, the party began..lol...Bailey came over and Jackson joined us much later before bed...Up until then, Chaz had his friend Justin over...
Bailey joined us later that afternoon...and the girls played and played...they are so different than boys, they take off and you don't hear much out of them ;)
Brad worked on his basketball goal for Chaz project..LONG story..
and I worked on these for the softball team..bag tags for their ball bags (their names are on the back of the tags)..cause we like to look cute :)
We had dinner and then the girls had a big dessert and watched Tangled...we believe in ice cream sundaes around here.... ( I have no idea why this last sentence is highlighted?)
Pancakes for breakfast by Daddy...
Brad attempted to take the boys fishing, which lasted all of about an hour..I had plans with the girls to take a picnic to the park, feed the ducks, and then go get ice cream...and we did..so enjoy the pictures for OUR outing next ;) (once again, why the blue underline?)
It was SO hot~
Let's eat! What is it about eating outside on a blanket? Its just fun..my kids always go for it :)
Cartwheels! Bailey's new thing..she does them everywhere..lol
and then on to Dairy Queen...for guess what? Ice cream!
When we got home, the boys were already back from their "fishing" outing...and they were getting creative with monster trucks, which was funny to me cause Chaz hasn't touched one of those things in a few years..Jackson still likes to play with cars and trucks..so he went home with a little pile from Chaz...they were lining them up and letting them race down the driveway...actually kept them occupied for a while...
(I like to get pictures of my kids with their friends..those are some of the best pictures to me to look back on now)

I had to work Saturday and then Bailey had her first softball game for Spring season..those pictures next..
Wow, I made it to Week 10...awesome! (I do have to go back and do the week 8,but other than that, I'm caught up) YES!

I mentioned last week that Bailey turned 7...I finished editing the pictures and thought I would share them here ...our family reads this and likes to see the pictures..so here goes..and let me warn you, there are a LOT..so skip on by if you want.
We started the day off with a phone call from Daddy in the morning..and then I joined Bailey at lunch (took her Chick fil a) and cupcakes for her class..good times..
and then we had a little party with just the family at home..due to our Disney trip, no friend party this year..I felt it was a fair trade off? N0?...lol
One of the teachers at school makes all the birthday kids at school this birthday hat..hee hee..I had to go pick her up from school instead of her riding the bus home b/c they don't allow balloons on the bus..high maintenance that girl is..lol
Now, some serious pictures of the birthday girl...
and then I made her go get her new outfit on..and took more pictures..lol
My neighbor made her cake..so pretty! and Daddy brought her those flowers...she got flowers twice!
Papa always brings her flowers :)
Phone call from Aunt Cici..unfortunately they were able to come due to she and Uncle David both being sick...
We had pizza and fruit...it was delicious..and easy :)
She wanted to open presents before the cake...she couldn't stand not knowing what was in all those packages..lol
Chaz stays in the wings to help her read her cards if needed...and to have the best view of the gifts ;)

and so he played rave type music on Bailey's keyboard and drove us crazy! lol..

(I got a nice email to my supervisor from the Chief of Nursing about the care I gave her husband in our unit...I was so touched..I copied and pasted it onto a blank ledger card..hee hee)

Bailey brought home this cute little book she had made at school full of happy little drawings..just put it into a 6x6 protector...

and had to include the report/grade we got back on Chaz's first book report..loved the note the teacher wrote at the bottom (and she's a notoriously tough teacher)...

This past week is going to be tough..I have a LOTof pictures (it was Bailey's birthday..so gonna have a large collage insert this week)
We are cranking up baseball tournament season around these parts..This weekend is our second one..we had a big win last night and my boy had a great game from what I hear, but I wasn't there due to prior plans..darn it! Isn't that how it always happens? We had to be at the fields at 7:15 this morning which stunk..and they lost by about 4 runs..that stunk too...we are waiting to hear when our next game is..tonight or tomorrow...but I love this picture I snapped of him before he left for his game yesterday :)
and yes, the "flat bill" hats are the IN thing now in ball...I'm getting used to it..lol
blink, blink...where did the time go?
We are so proud of her...she's spunky, smart, sassy, funny, tough when she needs to be, and super cute if I can say so myself :)
Our Disney trip took the place of a "friend party" this year, but last night, we had the grandparents over to celebrate..Cici and David were sick and we sure missed them...
My neighbor/friend across the street makes cakes and did this one for her..she was so pretty!
(I couldn't figure out where to put candles into the cake, so it gave me an excuse to go get her a cupcake from Gigi's...so we put her 7 candles into that)
Lots of pictures to go through, but just picked a few to share for now...
At the top of her wish list was a guitar...followed by a keyboard...there's going to be lots of noise going on in this house..cause now Chaz wants to play them too...and they are fighting over the instruments..who knew?
Chaz was high on Coke (the kind you drink of course), ice cream, and cake..and was over there producing some sort of "rave music"...sugar at night is not good for him...he becomes a different child..we had to wrestle both of them to bed...no more parties at night for them..
Earlier in the day, I took Chick fil A to Bailey at lunch and cupcakes for her classmates...
I let Lexi (next to B) take a few pictures of us...
